who i am
Meet John Graham
I am a children’s book author, father, and advocate of child safety who is dedicated to helping families navigate important conversations. Over many years and a variety of books, I have created books of all types, but my recent focus has been centered on my work in children’s safety. My goal is to create books that empower kids and support the parents who will guide them to safe behaviors.
I encourage you to check out my “I Can Be Safe” series and my other books celebrating family experiences, to better strengthen your family bonds. I’m looking forward to creating more books and working closely with educators, parents, and safety organizations to empower children and provide parents with confidence when navigating these topics.

Mission
My mission is to empower children with the knowledge and confidence they need to navigate the world safely while maintaining their natural curiosity and joy. Safety education should never be about creating fear — it's about building awareness, self-confidence, and positive decision-making skills.
Through carefully crafted stories, I aim to give parents and educators resources that make difficult conversations easier and more natural. Each book is a bridge between adult guidance and child understanding, creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue about important life lessons.
Every story I write is grounded in respect for children's intelligence and their capacity to learn and grow - and in the belief that confident kids make safer kids.
